2016 RTG Brand Relevance Report Revealed
 
With a changing consumer mindset and industry models constantly evolving, relevance is the biggest factor for a brand’s long-term success. Brands that do not acknowledge and respond to the fast changing market are at risk of falling behind the competition, or even worse, becoming irrelevant.
 
Intuition, RTG Consulting Group’s research division, revealed the outcome of a new study earlier this month, unveiling some interesting (and surprising) insights. The 2016 RTG Brand Relevance Report surveyed 4,000 of China’s Gen-Y and Gen-Z consumers, listing which brands they find most relevant to their lives. Topping the list are well-known brands Apple and Xiaomi, followed by WeChat and Adidas.

Ermenegildo Zegna Becomes the Official Partner for China’s National Football Team and U-22/U-23 Team

Mr. Zhang Jian, Vice President and General Secretary of Chinese Football Association, and Mr. Gildo Zegna, CEO of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, recently announced a partnership to design and provide official men’s off-field formal and leisurewear for China’s National Football Team as well as the U-22/U-23 Team. The partnership will run from September 1st 2016 to January 31st 2020, and coincides with the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. 
 
Zegna has been styling the world’s most interesting men for over 100 years. In China, Zegna is a true pioneer in the luxury fashion space, first entering the market over 25 years ago. Zegna’s partnership with the China Football Association (CFA), and in particular styling Chinese professional footballers, is a natural evolution of their on-going commitment to styling China’s modern gentlemen.

Fashion Rocks Starts “Shanghai. Let’s Meet!” October Initiatives

Two months after the Shanghai City Campaign successful program in London, the “Shanghai. Let’s Meet!” campaign has a number of initiatives in its home city across fashion, sport, cuisine, and art. Last month, the official press conference for the APAX LIVE produced “Fashion Rocks” mega event took over Shanghai. Officially endorsed by Shanghai, under the “Shanghai. Where Fashion Meets” extension, press conference attendees were treated to the sounds of one the upcoming headliners Charli XCX.
