Which brands are truly relevant to today’s Chinese consumers?

That’s what RTG Consulting Group set out to uncover in our 2017 Brand Relevance Report (BRR). By surveying 5,000 consumers, conducting in-depth interviews with 45 industry experts and select consumers across China’s major cities (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu), we were able to assess the relevance of 300 leading brands across 9 industries.  

While international brands dominated most of the top spots, we discovered there’s another story here: the strong and rapid growth of local Chinese brands.
